EducationUSA Center in Novosibirsk was established in 1991 in order to assist Russian students and scholars interested in studying or conducting research in the United States. The Novosibirsk EducationUSA Center is funded by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State and administered by American Councils for International Education ACTR/ACCELS, DC based non-for-profit organization.
As the part of the global EducationUSA Centers network, the Center in Novosibirsk is the oldest and currently the largest one in Siberia. The center strives to provide accurate, comprehensive, current, and unbiased information on educational opportunities in the United States. We do not endorse or rank any college or university, nor do we endorse services provided by any company or organization in the areas of test preparation, admissions, placement, language training, or visa procurement.
The Center is open 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, 11am - 6pm. Monthly Events Schedule

The library has over 200 volumes of books on US education and application procedures,
folders of related information, films in English about US colleges and universities. The Center CD collection contains test preparation materials
as well as CDs with information on US universities. Five public access computers provide Internet access, allow the use of test preparation software
and typing application documents to US universities.
Our regular events include monthly lectures on US education/application process and the lectures on essay writing. We offer individual consultations
on appointment bases. In cooperation with the American Corner in Novosibirsk we offer similar lectures on US education monthly in Regional Library on
Sovetskaya St. 6.
Other special events organized by the Center include:
- pre-departure workshops for students accepted to US universities offered in June
- regular outreach lectures and workshops at various universities around Novosibirsk and other cities in the region about study opportunities in the United States
- annual Education USA Presentation held in September
- annual International Education Day held in March-April in cooperation with partners’ organizations representing other countries educational opportunities
